Grand Collomia
(Collomia grand jflora)

Form:
Single erect stem topped with a cluster of trumpet-like salmon
flowers. 1/2 to 3 feet tall.

Leaves:
Alternate along stem, narrow and lance-shaped to linear. Leaves
beneath the flower cluster are shorter and broader than those lower on stem.

Flowers:
Salmon colored in a cluster at top of stem; corolla has a
slender tube and short lobes with stamens unequally inserted.

Habitat:
Open and lightly wooded slopes in dry climates.
Season:
April- August.
