Low 2-8 inches, in mat or clusters with solitary stems.

Leaves:

Opposite, bluish-green, narrowly lance shaped with sharp tip, 3/8-

1/1/4 inches long.

Flowers:
|
White, borne singly or a few at tip of stem, petals deeply
|
divided about 1/4 inch long, sepals and petals same length.
|
Habitat:
|
Moist, rocky slopes in mountains.
