Oregon Anemone
(Anemone oregana)

Form:
3-8 inches tall. Slender stem and one flower.
Leaves:
A whorl of three or more palmately compound just below the
flower, leaflets toothed and 2 inches long.

Flower:
Blue to purplish (occasionally pink or white). Solitary at end of
stem. Five sepals (3/4 inch) with numerous pistils and stamens

Habitat:
Very common on east slope of Cascades in open or moist conifer
forests

Season:
Spring (April-May)
