Solitary at the tip of leafless stem, 6 white petals, about

1 inch long broadly bell shaped, sepals about 5/8 inch long.

Habitat:

Shade tolerant in moist conifer forests
|

Season:

Early summer (May-July) (a blue berry develops in late
summer at tip of stem)
