Yarrow
(Achillea millefolium)

Form:
8-20 inches tall. Erect, stout, unbranched leafy stem.
Leaves:
Dull, alternate leaves, finely divided into fringes. Pungent
smell when crushed.

Flowers:
Slightly rounded flowerheads 2-4 inches across, composed
of many small flowerheads of white to pink ray flowers and creamy disk flowers.

Habitat:
Widespread in dry areas.
Season:
Summer (Late May- September)
