PONDEROSA COMMUNITY CLUB
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 8, 2005

Meeting was called to order by President Jim Lawson at 10:30 am. Board members present were Bill Allison, Judy Toenyan, Roy Daggett and Melanie Green.

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.

Jim reminded the Committee chairs that all reports were to be in writing and given to the Board prior to the meeting date. We did not receive any reports.

It was moved and approved to table the Budget Report until a later date.

Secretary Report: Judy thanked Melanie for taking care of the minutes for September. It was reported that the Board has hired a part-time bookkeeper to work in the office through the end of the year. Patty has consented to help out with the training as needed. Assuming that the budget passes, we will have someone available in the office approximately 30 hours a week

Treasurer Report: Bill reported on income and expenses for the month and noted that the information is available on the table for anyone to take home. Report accepted.

Director of Operations Report: Roy requested that $33,000 be taken out of prior years reserve to chip seal a couple of roads and get away from the dust control. Jack Bartleson questioned why not get more than one bid. Moved and seconded. Roy also reported that a homeowner on Lariat no longer needs water on his second lot.

New Business: A chipper will be available on October 11. The fire ban is off.

Social Committee: A New Years Eve party is being planned.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
