PONDEROSA COMMUNITY CLUB, INC.
BOARD MEETING NOVEMBER 11, 2006
The meeting was called to order by President Jim Lawson. Board members present were Judy Toenyan, Melanie Green and Roy Daggett. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Secretary report: Judy reported that we are still looking for volunteers to count ballots and also a nominating committee for the two Board positions that will open up in May. I have also been contacted by someone who is willing to help with the Needler. Report accepted.
Treasurer report: Only 9 owners now owe for past dues. Balance is water a/c $241,631.08. As of end of October, we are over budget by $11,430. Report accepted.
Judy read a report from Pam that the Needler had been mailed.
Jim explained how we came up with the dollar amount needed to finish out the year.
Melanie gave social report showing 8.70 in donations and 14.90 in expenses. Report accepted.
M & O: Roy had a letter from the Health Department needing info for number of lots in community, including part timers and full timers. There will be a meeting on November 16 th sponsored by Chelan Natural Resources concerning water district and what we can expect in the future. Report accepted.
No Building and Grounds report.
Jim read a letter from Pam concerning water shut off on November 3 rd. She felt that it was not handled properly. Roy responded.
Jim also read a letter from Bill Griffin concerning ballot issues.
Reida mentioned that someone had called and wanted to volunteer for the lighting contest.
Dick Nicklas stated that we will be required to send our Bank statements after the lst of the year to the State. This will be done on a quarterly basis. Wells 5 and 6 are approved for use.
Reida requested that Dick make the water information and all correspondence available in the office where it belongs.
Diane Johansen asked how to contact the caretaker’s. Their cell numbers are on the office board, however we will also put on the web site.
There is a VCR available to the clubhouse if we want. Answer was no.
The Myers property will settle toward the end of November. We will receive somewhere over $6,000.
A question was asked regarding rent on Dan’s residence. He pays. Also to clarify, they are not allowed to plow any driveways.
Jack asked if audit was completed for 2005. It was.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
