BOARD MEETING HELD ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 2, 2007

This meeting was held because of Board members that were going to be gone for the regular meeting the 2nd Saturday of the month.  Present were Jack, Judy, Roy & Jim.

Up for discussion was a laptop computer for Paul’s use as the maintenance/water manager, plus a desk for Paul to use in the office to maintain his records and do his business effectively.  Also it was agreed upon that ALL water records be returned to the office for safekeeping.   Also discussed was a vehicle for Ponderosa use so that personal cars would not be used for Ponderosa business.  We have an option to purchase one at price of $6,000 (bluebook).  We will lease for $200 a month for 2007.

President Jim read a letter from the selection committee that was studying Property Management.

A By-Law change was discussed that would be a ballot issue to put aside prior years money into a separate savings account for emergency use only.  Bill Griffin will be asked to help with the language.

Bob Melson will start March lst as the Association Manager.

Bob will re-open credit account at Plain Grocery in order to obtain gas for Ponderosa equipment/vehicles.  Rick will receive a raise in pay April lst as per agreement.  Paul has the PCC 2nd cell phone.  Rick broke his cell phone-the PCC will pay for a new one.

The Ponderosa will pay for 2 mailboxes to be replaced that was damaged by snow plow equipment.

Lot #4 (Gonzales property) was briefly discussed.  Our attorney is working on a quick claim deed.

Bridle Lane will be repaired as soon as weather permits.  There is extreme damage and water run-off due to an underground spring.

The Board voted and approved for all mail for the Ponderosa be returned and opened by the Association Manager.

Board discussed to inquire if Webb Accounting was keeping separate accounting records for the special assessment.  Also a signature stamp will be ordered for Webb to use.
