PONDEROSA COMMUNITY CLUB
BOARD MEETING
MAY 13, 2007
The meeting was called to order by President Jim Lawson. He noted that there was not a quorum present, with the only other members at the meeting were Melanie Green and Judy Toenyan.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Treasurer Report: Read and discussed by Bob Melson. Dick Nicklas questioned the dollar amount in the Insurance line. Jim pointed out that the finance chair had over-stated the 2006 budget and requested that the Board wait until January 2007 to pay the large insurance premium due when more money would be available. As it is not due until January, the Board agreed that this would be a good idea. The Capital Reserve Transfer for 4th quarter of 2006 has not been completed yet. Report accepted.
Mary Bunney asked if details were being sent to the Board from Webb Accounting to show what account our funds are going into. Bob explained that he is getting that information and having them make corrections if needed.
Pam Nicklas asked if the audit would be available by the Annual Meeting. Bob replied probably not, as Webb had not supplied the needed information to LeMaster/Daniels in a timely manner.
Social Committee: Melanie mentioned that the burn pile would be May 19th, quilters on the 20th. Coffee and cookies would be available at the Annual Meeting and donations of cookies are needed. June 9th will be the Volunteer’s dinner right after the Board Meeting.
Mary Bunney asked about the abandoned vehicles in the community. Bob has contacted one owner and it will be removed. The other will be towed.
Gina was curious about how many vehicles are allowed on a piece of property. The number is 6, according to Pam Nicklas.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
Respectively Submitted, Judy Toenyan, Secretary
