PONDEROSA COMMUNITY CLUB
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 10, 2006

The meeting was called to order by President Jim Lawson. Board members present included Jim Lawson, Roy Daggett, Melanie Green and Mike Curti.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Vice President Report: Melanie reported cash on hand for the social committee of $194.36. Movie in the park a success on Sept. 2 nd, 90 people attending. Thanks to Doug and Tammy Barga for chairing the event and to Dan for the outside lights. Report accepted.

Treasurer Report: Mike gave the finance report and reported the adjustments made to the P & L. Report accepted.

Secretary Report: Judy out of town and nothing to report.

M & O Report: Building & Grounds-the ball field has been rock-picked, fertilized and seeded. Roy had the garbage can removed, although the committee feels strongly that there should be one for the usual ‘park litter’. A five year budget is in process.

Roy reported the Linderman settlement is still be worked on. Also working on Gonzales settlement (easement off Spur Road). Report accepted.

President Report: Office closed Wednesday through Friday next week.

Dean and Gina Wilkins reported the water was off Thursday through Sunday and they were not notified nor kept informed as they should have been. They would like assurance people will be notified and kept informed should this happen again. E-mail from Jack Bartleson regarding the Linderman fund was read. Report Accepted.

Old Business: Sharyl commented on the maintenance of the pool this year.

Chipper for slash pile was put on hold due to fire hazards.

New business: A guard rail is needed at 0.6 mile on Camp as Rd. Palamino and Camp 12 Roads are a hazard in winter-people coming up Palomino do not stop in the snow.
