Members discussed new trail in reserve area off Stirrup.  Pam and Mary will walk and mark possible trail.  October meeting will include update and possible clearing if numbers for volunteer work force allows.  Pam will contact Scott Volreath regarding surveying in October.

John Cross volunteered to take broken posts with signs and purchase new posts through Greenbelt Committee budget @ Plain Hardware.  He will set new posts and transfer signs to the new posts.

Members agreed that chair should purchase work tools equipment at Plain Hardware.  Shovels, rakes, lopping shears, cross-cut saws, small paintbrushes, and replacement blades for saws are needed.   Billed to Ponderosa attn:  greenbelt budget.

Committee discussed possibility of a sign for the sledding hill stating:
“Sled at your own risk” similar to the one near the clubhouse play area.  Committee felt this is a board decision and expenditure.  We ask the board to respond with our recommendation.

Steve Malmstead shared that he has contacted Bob Melson and the chipper will be reserved and on site for our October chipping party.

Maps of Ponderosa were handed out to committee members to begin the process of updating for a trail map for the membership to be included with “The Needler”.  The goal will be to have the final draft ready for printing by the end of the year.
Committee discussed today’s work party and decided to work off Primitive (near big brush pile) to limb up dead branches and create piles for the October chipper.

Meeting adjourned @ 8:55 a.m.

Respectfully submitted,
Steve Malmstead – Greenbelt Chair
