Please visit our calendar of activities for the year. If you have any ideas on what members would like to do, please let us know by phoning us or leaving us a message in the Ponderosa mailbox. We are looking for members to sponsor one or several of the social events (shown with an * on the calendar). These events will not happen without a sponsor. To sponsor an event, your job will be to set up tables, purchase any necessary items, etc. We have records of what was purchased in the past and the money to fund the events. Truly it is not very difficult or time consuming for a member or several members per event. so if you have participated in these events in the past and would like to see them continue, or would like some other social activities, please contact me. The events take very little time and are a lot of fun. So please step forward.

Social Committee Report

Social Committee - Operating Procedures

The recommended number of members for the Social Committee is a minimum of five (5). The Vice President is the Trustee assigned to this committee. The committee is charged with:

1. Planning, organizing and directing social and fund-raising activities which involve the Ponderosa’s facilities, other than those fund-raising activities which have been assigned to the Treasurer.
2. Providing planned activities and budget proposal for the coming year to the Board by August 31, and accounting for all expenditures to the bookkeeper at each month end. Committee reports of activities are to be given to the Association Manager after each event for posting at the Office, the Clubhouse and on the website.
